Best burgers ?

Always a good atmosphere and food is too quality.

Ordered Eggs Benedict which said it would be on sourdough, but was instead served on a half-toasted plain English muffin. "Hollandaise" sauce just tasted like melted butter. Poached eggs were ok though, but certainly not worth the price. Pretty underwhelming. My partner got the crumbed Halloumi burger which was ok, but could have mor crunch, perhaps using iceberg lettuce.

The owners are rude and disrespectful. I do not appreciate being threatened by them. I would never recommend anyone to eat here.

Kiwi Cafe is ? OUTSTANDING! The food is dlish, portion size is QUALITY! The wait time is non existent for what we ordered! Family of 6 so we are used to waitingggggg! This is a great place to frequent, you won't be disappointed.

Coffee was ok, loved the tea pot of extra hot water, a nice touch. Had a bacon and egg toastie, very nice.

Fantastic little café with lots of potential to become a must visit institution. The menu has all the classic favourites, and the cabernet food is equally appealing, particularly the carrot cake with cream cheese icing and walnuts. The coffee is good and will definitely put you in a great mood. They have a selection of wines and spirits, if you feel that the coffee isn't doing the trick and need more time chatting with your friends. Staff are great and handle online Uber eats as well as walk in customers well. Overall this is a café that can establish an excellent resurgence for the Suburb and is worth stopping and checking the place out.

Just left from having breakfast with my friend. There was quite a bit of a rush and they were understaffed but the front of house waitress was very calm and kept her cool with customers (even the impatient ones). My friend and I felt really bad for them as there were a lot of orders coming through, but they still gave 10/10 customer service. They also doubled up on an eggs benedict and ended up giving one to me for free! :) Left very happy. Will definitely be back again

We made a trip to kiwi cafe this morning and boy were glad we did! On arrival my partners first impression was a flat nope. From the street looking at the entrance this place doesnt look the best hidden between a few dingey takeaway outlets, I convinced my other half to give it a shot as the reviews were excellent. Walking in the decor was lovely and warm with a inviting atmosphere. We were greeted warmly by the staff and given a table almost instantly. The hot chocolate was the best I've every had and the food was amazing. We both had the big breakfast. The home made chutney was to die for. The prices were reasonable. We were both extremely impressed and look forward to our next visit. What a hidden gem! Thank you so much for your hospitality ? see you soon!!!

I have tried nearly all southern style burgers in Wellington. Had best southern fried chicken burger in Wellington region. Very well done guys. Definitely recommend.

food was good, but the service was a bit disappointing. we came in during the morning and asked if they’d reserve a table for us at the front, but when we showed up that night they hadn’t reserved the table for us.

What an amazing hidden gem! Tucked away between a couple of dodgy takeaway shops, you swear you were walking into a high class cafe in downtown welly. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, chicken with the mushroom sauce was perfect. Daughter had kids waffles which she loved. And my coffee!!! My coffee so perfect, it was 11/10. Rest of family had milkshakes which they all really liked, my partner is a milkshake connoisseur and said they were top notch. The service was really friendly, and all the food came out at the same time too. The decor was nice, and the atmosphere was really open, airy, and relaxed. I am looking forward to going back .

Had two large takeaway coffee's today, made by new barista girl. Coffee's were absolutely disgusting, both were super weak and milk tastes burnt. Very disappointed this time.
